I want to discuss one problem related to the shortcut creation.
At the end of the shortcut creation flow it is responsibility of the current launcher to create the required shortcut. There are many launchers and there are can be some problems, actually many people think that this is issue of Shortcut Creator.
Sometimes option "Alternate way for create a shortcut." while creating shortcut on an application can resolve the issue. But some launchers (EMUI for example) don't support this interface at all and the shortcut is not created.
But Shortcut Creator also supports another interface which has more support by the launchers. This is creation of shortcut by request from the launcher itself. In this case you can create only one shortcut and Shortcut Creator closes after the creation, but this is limitation of this way.
For use this way you should in your launcher go to the list of available shortcuts/widgets. For example in EMUL you should do long tap on the home screen and select Widgets.
After this you should find Shortcut Creator icon and drag it to the home screen.
